Professional Experience

Mr. Lagomarsino has over 29 years work experience in the field of structural, and geotechnical engineering for numerous projects including, buildings, bridges, roadways, high rise buildings, tunnels and railroad/subway structures, and industrial plants. He is familiar with the basis of the engineering science, which has lead him to understand the essentials of field of design, construction inspection, and investigations. He has worked in every aspects of the field which includes subsurface investigations including geotechnical investigations in soil conditions and properties, hydraulic analysis, and seismic analysis. Also, he is competent in the numerous engineering computer programs. Mr. Lagomarsino has designed numerous structural buildings new and renovated front façade 7 stories or higher buildings, and geotechnical projects, which include roadways. As for the aspect of the geotechnical related projects included overseeing boring samples, inspection of piles, design of geogrid retaining walls, design of concrete walls bulkheads, abutments with rock anchors, pipe layouts, footings, sheeting and whalers, underpinning of buildings. he has experience with construction inspection for major structural buildings low to high rise buildings in the tri states area. Investigation and monitoring of multiple structures from single to multiple family houses to evaluate the defects over time. Experience in use of Total station equipment for monitoring of the buildings has been used for more than 10 years. Evaluation of existing building under distress from adjacent property construction has been performed and expert witness testimony for the subject matter has been included for NJ and NY projects. Expert witness testimony on multiple related structural matters for the NYC and NJ area Courts. Experienced with plan submissions for state agencies such as NJDEP, NYCDEP, and NJ DCA.
